This SIM glossary explains CNIC, IMEI, MNP and account terms in plain language. Knowing which identifier you have helps you choose the right service and avoid sharing the wrong information.
SIM glossary: read the label before copying an identifier
A mobile number is used for calls and messages. A SIM identifier concerns the card or profile. A CNIC concerns identity. An IMEI concerns the handset. Copying one into a field for another may produce an error and shares information unnecessarily.
MNP means mobile number portability: changing network while retaining a number. It is different from transferring the registered subscriber or replacing a damaged card. Ask which transaction is being performed when you visit a shop.

Blocking, disowning and replacing
Blocking stops or restricts a connection according to the operator’s action. Disowning concerns removing the registration through the applicable process. Replacement concerns obtaining another card or profile for your account. One request should not be assumed to complete all three.
Ask support to state what it actually did, the effective time and whether a further request is needed. Keep the reference rather than relying on an informal term used by a seller.
