Remove Your Details From Lookup Apps and Websites

Updated 6 October 2026 · 2 min read

To remove SIM owner details from an app or website listing, document the exposure privately and use a verifiable removal channel. Report suspected misuse where appropriate; removal from one listing does not guarantee every copy disappears.

Remove SIM owner details from a listing, not an operator record

A wrong caller label is usually a correction request to that app’s publisher. A registration mismatch belongs with the operator. Changing one does not prove the other was changed, and deleting an app does not necessarily remove data already sent to its service.

Save the visible label, publisher name, URL and date privately. Use the publisher’s correction or privacy channel and state the inaccurate item and requested action. Do not send a full CNIC photo merely because an unofficial support account asks for it.

Keep the removal request specific

Ask whether the publisher can correct the displayed label, remove a profile or delete information it holds. Keep its response and any reference. A promise to delete from one service is not evidence that all copies across the internet are gone.

If the publisher requests identity verification, assess whether the request is proportionate and whether the recipient is genuine. Ask about alternatives before sharing extra documents.

Suspected misuse

Preserve evidence of exposure, contact attempts and loss. Use the identity-protection checklist and official reporting routes where appropriate. Avoid paid agents promising universal deletion without explaining their authority.

Frequently asked questions

Can this site remove a listing from another app?

No. The publisher, platform or relevant authority controls that process.

Is one removal confirmation enough?

Check the affected listing again and keep the confirmation. Other copies may need separate follow-up.
